Vyrába sa z hrozna vopred vybraného z viníc Erste Lage a Grosse Lage. Stredne hlboká až hlboká pôda pozostáva z fylitu kombinovaného so sprašou a strmými svahmi až do 60 %. Vôňa miestnych jabĺk a dúl, broskyne a mirabeliek s nádychom citrusov. Precízne a svieže. Vinice obce Kiedrich dodávajú rizlingu charakteristickú mineralitu, ktorá je vynikajúco integrovaná. Živá kyselinka a intenzívna ovocnosť mu dodávajú dlhý záver.
