Description

Oblasť Cahors je domovom odrody Malbec. Hrozno pochádza z terás s vápenatou pôdou. Vinohrady sú obhospodarované v BIO režime. Ich vek je 30 až 50 rokov. Fermentácia je spontánna, s minimom zásahov a kontaktom so šupkami jeden mesiac. Vyzrieva 2 roky v 80% nových sudoch. Víno sa fľašuje nečírené a nefiltrované. V pivnici môže vyzrievať ešte dve desiatky rokov. Dekantujte.

Bratia Pascal a Jean-Marc Verhaeghe  sú často označovaní ako vlajkonosiči apelácie Cahors.
