Hlboká rubínovo červená farba s vysokým leskom. Rafinovaná vôňa čiernych ríbezlí, sliviek, višní, cassisu s tónmi kávových zŕn, sladkého drievka, sušeného tymiánu a fialiek. Bohatá chuť, ktorá nadväzuje na vôňu. Ovocná s dominanciou ríbezlí a kôstkového ovocia. Jemný dotyk vanilky a byliniek. Vyvážené, elegantné víno s dobre zakomponovanými tanínmi a kyselinkou. Dlhý minerálny záver. The Gravel Ngakirikiri s potencálom vyzrievať 15 až 20 rokov.
