Description

Ambiciózny projekt alebo víno z oblasti Chianti, resp. z jej časti. Usadlosť IL Caggio sa nachádza v Castellina (Fonterutoli). Vzniká ako zmes viacerých vín z odrody Sangiovese, ktoré sa vinifikujú oddelene. 25% vína sa vinifikuje vo veľkých dubových tonneaux a zvyšok v nerezových tankoch. Následne víno vyzrieva ešte 24 mesiacov v nových dubových tonneaux a v jednom veľkom 15hl sude. Po scelení 6 mesiacov v betónových nádobách. Oproti 2015 pôsobí tmavšie vo farbe a bohato v ústach s tónmi sušenej slivky a černíc. Dlhý, jemne korenistý záver.
