"Dark bold red colour with purple concentrated rim. Bouqet of the wine is typical for ""Grange"", hint of fermented tea, malt, indian pepper and nougat. Taste of the wine is expressive, robust with juicy hint of blackcurrants, blueberries with nicely balanced content of tannin and hint of chocolate and liquorice."

J. Suckling 100. Odporúčanie someliera Rasťa Šutáka - Grange je inštitúcia a mať ho v pivnici, archíve či reštaurácii je ako pozerať doma na Picassa. Obrovský dopyt, najmä z Číny robí z neho absolútne nedostupné víno. Slovensko sa muselo "uspokojiť" z 12 kusmi. Niektoré krajiny nedostali nič! O tom či je toto víno vznešené, emancipované, dramatické, intelektuálne, vulgárne, nadčasové alebo drahé nemá zmysel polemizovať. Mali by sme byť nadšení, že vôbec existuje.

Jedno z najstarších vinárstiev kontinentu. Založil ho anglický emigrant Christopher Rawson Penfold so svojou ženou Mary. Začínali na pozemku Magill Estate z ktorého pochádza nádherné víno so stále tradičným prístupom pri výrobe. Napriek vysokému ratingu sa Penfolds snaží zvyšovať kvalitu svojich vín.
