Intenzívna rubínovo červená farba. Vôňa je ovocná najmä čerešne a čierne ríbezle. Neskôr sa pridávajú korenisté tóny. Extraktívna a zároveň šarmantná chuť. Štruktúrované triesloviny a dlhý kasisovo - minerálny záver. Excelentná hodnota. Neoficiálne druhé víno Tignanella.

Víno od premiérového ročníka 1970 patrí medzi klenoty talianskych vín. Bolo to prvé Sangiovese, ktoré vyzrievalo v malých dubových sudoch. Vinohrad ( 57ha ) má juhovýchodnú expozíciu s nadmorskou výškou do 400 metrov. Pôda je vápenatá s množstvom bielych skál, ktoré akumulujú a odrážajú slnečné lúče.
