Description

Deep purple colour, with intense floral and perfumed top notes of rose petals, followed by aromas of strawberries, mulberries and hints of oak spice. The mid palate is filled with plush flavours of red fruits, plums and chocolate. Seamlessly integrated oak and velvety tannins adds great support and structure. A big, mouth filling, complex and powerful wine, yet elegant at the same time.

Odporúčanie someliera Rasťa Šutáka - Kanonkop požíva status "premier cru classé" pre Pinotage v Južnej Afrike. Obrovský dopyt vo svete zapríčinil, že si ho treba alokovať rok - dva dopredu. Z fenomenálneho ročníka 2017 bolo vyrobených niečo cez 6000 fliaš. 70-ročné vinohrady z pôvodnej klonovej selekcie rodia malé množstvo hrozna s vysokou koncentráciou. Toto víno disponuje autoritou a hĺbkou. Významom alebo charakterom sa môže smelo prirovnať k Richebourg z DRC či Grange od Penfoldsu, ale za podstatne odlišnú cenu.
